Bill Burns has practiced as a civil trial lawyer since 1974, which gives him more legal experience than anyone at Pajcic & Pajcic other than Gary and Steve. Bill also brings to the practice the dedication and determination he developed as an officer in the United States Navy. Before being honorably discharged as a Lieutenant, Bill's work with the Navy Civil Engineer Corps included a tour of duty in Bangkok, Thailand.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University in 1967 and a Juris Doctorate from Florida State Law School in 1973 with honors for his academic achievement.
Bill spent 20 years at one of Jacksonville's most prominent insurance defense firms, Marks, Gray, Conroy & Gibbs, including several years as managing partner. After two more years at Peek & Cobb, Bill joined Pajcic & Pajcic in 1996. Bill has served as lead attorney in million-dollar recoveries in malpractice and on-the-job injury cases. Bill is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was awarded board certification in civil trial law in 1992.
