Robert Spohrer is the President and Senior Partner of Spohrer Dodd P.L. Mr. Spohrer is Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a Specialist in both Aviation Law and Civil Trial Law. Since admission to The Florida Bar in 1974, he has handled thousands of cases involving aviation accidents, defective products, professional negligence, and insurance law. He has tried more than one hundred cases in state and federal court, including the United States Supreme Court, and
obtained verdicts and settlements of more than 100 million dollars for his clients. Mr. Spohrer s a member of the exclusive Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only organization of the top 100 trial attorneys in the country. He is listed in Florida Trend Magazine's "Legal Elite," in the Best Lawyers in America, and as a Florida "Super Lawyer" -- a prestigious achievement based on peer nominations.

His courtroom achievements have been covered extensively by the national media, including The Washington Post, 60 Minutes, National Public Radio and BBC World Service Radio.

In addition to The Florida Bar, Bob Spohrer is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar, the United States Supreme Court Bar, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.

Throughout his career, Mr. Spohrer has been active in professional organizations, legal education and civic organizations. His professional memberships and offices include: Past Chair of the Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar, Past Chair of the Board of Examiners for Civil Trial Law, Examiner for The Florida Bar in Aviation Certification, Master of The American Inns of Court, Diplomat of The American Board of Trial Advocates, Chair of the Grievance Committee for the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and adjunct professor at the Florida Coastal School of Law.
Committed to legal education, he has provided presentations, lectures and white papers to numerous organizations, including the University of Florida College Of Law, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocacy, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Mr. Spohrer contributes time and resources to many non-profit organizations including the North Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and Hands On Jacksonville. Mr. Spohrer was born in New York City, is married, and has two children.
