TIMOTHY L. FLANAGAN, a co-founder of the Firm, received a B.S. in Accounting from Florida Southern College in 1978. He received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1981 and a LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1983. Mr. Flanagan served as Trust Counsel for Florida National Bank, acting as in-house counsel for its statewide Trust and Investment Division.

Mr. Flanagan is a frequent lecturer and he has published articles on taxation and estate planning in national periodicals and tax services. Mr. Flanagan is a Florida Bar Board Certified Tax Lawyer, serves on several committees of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, as well as a member of its Executive Council. He is a Fellow of the American College of Estate and Trust Counsel.

Mr. Flanagan's expertise lies in the area of estate planning and administration, including income, estate, gift and generation skipping transfer tax, probate, fiduciary law and other estate and trust matters, focusing upon estates of significant size and complexity. He also represents and advises clients with closely-held businesses on corporate matters, business successions and related estate and tax planning issues.
